ParentPing Featured on CBS During Tribeca Festival Week: Why This Moment Matters

Being a founder is filled with quiet moments—late nights, uncertainty, and believing in something before anyone else does.

That's why seeing ParentPing featured on CBS on the Donna Drake Show during Tribeca Festival week in New York City was such an incredible milestone.

The Donna Drake Show has highlighted countless entrepreneurs, entertainers, and changemakers over the years. Filming during the excitement surrounding the Tribeca Festival made the experience even more special, as New York was buzzing with filmmakers, creators, entrepreneurs, and celebrities celebrating innovation and storytelling.

Sharing the Stage with Incredible Founders

One of the most inspiring parts of the episode was meeting fellow founders who are solving real problems for families and educators.

Featured companies included:

  • PerfectPaci – Snap-on designs for BIBS and FRIGG pacifiers
  • Speech Start – Resources supporting early speech development
  • Nourish Mother – Healthy pregnancy and postpartum cooked meals for mothers
  • Royal Fireworks Press & Online Learning – Educational publishing and learning resources
  • iSmash Farmingdale – A unique entertainment experience
  • Tyze LLC – Chew-safe, antimicrobial silicone hoodie strings
  • 144 Education NGO – Educational initiatives making an impact

Being surrounded by entrepreneurs building meaningful businesses reminded me why I started ParentPing in the first place.

Why ParentPing Was Created

As parents, we rely on our phones for everything.

But bedtime shouldn't depend on whether your phone is charged, nearby, or on silent.

ParentPing was created to give families a simple way to communicate during bedtime without phones, apps, Wi-Fi, or waving at the monitor camera when you're stuck.

Just press the button.

Someone you love gets the ping.

Simple.

A Week Filled with Creativity

The Tribeca Festival attracts filmmakers, actors, producers, and storytellers from around the world. While I wasn't walking the red carpet, filming in New York during one of the city's biggest creative events felt incredibly motivating.

Throughout Tribeca week, celebrities such as Robert De Niro (Tribeca co-founder), Whoopi Goldberg, Miley Cyrus, Billy Joel, Mariska Hargitay, and many other artists and creators participated in festival events, celebrating independent storytelling and innovation.

Seeing entrepreneurs featured alongside so much creativity was a reminder that every great product begins with a story.

For ParentPing, that story starts with helping families be more present—one bedtime at a time.
